The workshop, in conjunction with the Knowledge Graph Conference (KGC), is about how knowledge graphs applications for social good.
The topics which we group under the umbrella phrase "social good applications " are many and varied. We are seeking presentations that may include the following examples, but not limited to:
Industry best practices and examples (within the subject areas of the SDGs)
Examples SDG applications
Lessons learned within the industry, academia, and government for social betterment
Academic and industry approaches applied to the SDGs
We will provide a basic taxonomy (a basic graph) of concepts related to the SDGs. You are welcome to enrich this graph with other public documents taxonomies or graphs. We will also provide unstructured data (documents in PDF or Word) about SDG-related topics.
We are looking for submissions with example solutions and ideas that address the one or more of the following challenge:
Identifying (co-occurrence of) concepts in the documents using an automatic methodology
Using machine learning, enrich the basic graph with predicted links and measure completeness before and after enrichment

Please submit the abstract for peer review. Your contribution will be reviewed by at least two program committee members (revisions may be requested and subject to review).
We will be evaluating and accepting unpublished recent work and works in progress in the field in the context of SDGs. Submissions will be evaluated on how well the submission articulates applicability of the problem solution, practicality of the proposed implementation solution, as well as the and impactfulness towards addressing the key challenges of the SDGs.
